LLC «Plant Reostat» is an electric machine-building enterprise of the Pskov region, founded in 1960. Plant is in the rate of TOP 10 of best taxpayers of the Pskov region and in the TOP 5 best taxpayers of the city of Velikiye Luki. The company's products are electrical equipment for the needs of the transport, energy and mining industries.

The Rheostat plant is the only manufacturer in Russia of a complete set of electrical equipment for AC trains. Dozens of suburban trains and subway cars across the country are equipped with the plant's products.

Automatic control systems manufactured by the company are installed at many HPPs and thermal power plants in Russia. Also, their quality is highly appreciated abroad – in Argentina, Serbia, Uzbekistan and a number of other countries.

Since 2009, the production of large electric machines for quarry excavators, drilling machines, dump trucks "BelAZ" with a load capacity of 130, 160 and 240 tons has been established.

The production of products is based on a quality management system that has been certified in the "Russian Register" for compliance with ISO 9001 requirements. The work of the enterprise is characterized by a modern organization and management based on a functioning quality management system, which is not an end in itself, but a means of achieving certain results in the market.
